The Australian Strings Association (AUSTA) is a professional association of players and makers of bowed string instruments which promotes excellence in all aspects of performance, teaching, conducting and string instrument making. AUSTA aims to inspire and support students, amateurs and professionals and also to facilitate communication at local, national and international levels
The MTAQ, founded in 1921, is a professional body representing almost 500 members throughout Queensland. Amongst many other things, it aims to promote a high standard of music teaching in the state. The Association enjoys a close liaison with examination bodies, tertiary institutions and other similar Associations both nationally and internationally.
ANATS Queensland is the Queensland arm of our National Body ANATS – Australian National Association of Teachers of Singing Limited. ANATS is the professional association dedicated to serving all those who teach singing in Australia. ANATS was established to encourage the highest standards in the art of both singing and the teaching of singing.
